Become Part of a Trusted Network Protecting the UK Telecoms Sector

The Telecommunications UK Fraud Forum (TUFF) is a nationally recognised membership organisation dedicated to reducing telecommunications fraud and related crime. Formed in 1995 by a small group of telecoms security professionals, TUFF was created to provide a trusted environment where industry practitioners could share intelligence, discuss emerging threats, and collaborate to prevent fraud.

Membership Categories 2026

Membership Level Who It’s For Annual Fee (excl. VAT)
Finance and Communications Services Sector Membership – Large Telecoms companies with 500+ employees. Open to companies managing financial risk for individuals and businesses  or delivers voice, data, and digital connectivity services. £5,000
Finance and Communications Services Sector Membership - Medium Telecoms companies with fewer than 500 employees. Open to companies managing financial risk for individuals and businesses  or delivers voice, data, and digital connectivity services. £3,000
Corporate Communications / Fraud Industry Related Membership Open to companies who service and support the telecommunication and fraud sector. This includes but is not limited to the provision of products, services, support and technology to assist with fraud prevention and detection. £2,850
SME Membership Open to medium sized companies who provide products and services related to the equipment used in the communications and fraud industry. This includes, but not limited to, insurance companies, mobile phone suppliers, recyclers, and resellers. £1,800
Small Enterprise Membership Open to small companies who provide products and services to the communications and fraud industry. This would include, but not limited to small independent stores, suppliers and startups. £500
Law Enforcement (LEA) TUFF provides FREE annual LEA Membership for staff engaged in specialist telecommunications and fraud related roles. Some events and training packages may be subject to charge.  Free

Annual membership runs from 6 April to 5 April. Organisations joining mid-year are charged pro rata.
Membership applies to the entire organisation — not just an individual.
